Succulent Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon

– 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
– 3 tablespoons butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup chicken broth
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon lemon zest
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– Lemon slices for garnish

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Remove from heat.
4. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
5. Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
