Ingredients:
- 1 large loaf of French bread
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 can (4.25 ounces) chopped black olives
- 1 can (4.25 ounces) chopped green olives
- 2 tablespoons olive brine
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, grated Monterey Jack cheese, chopped black olives, chopped green olives, olive brine, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise. Spread the olive and cheese mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve warm.
